Teenager Dornish Prince and princess Oberyn and Elia Martell, back at a time when they were not The Red Viper or the Queen -to-be of Westeros, but just brother and sister. From what Oberyn says in the books, they were pretty close, so I just pictured this fluffy scene of them being silly in the gardens.

Now, the question. Do you think they were...more than brother and sister? Is incest that widespread in Westeros?

Elia and Oberyn are characters of George Martin's A song of Ice and Fire saga.

This I love. I have always seen Dorn like ancient egypt and the way you did the cloaths just made my day thanky you.
I don't think that they were like Jaime and his sister i think they were just close. But i remember that comment Oberyn made "we were as colse as your brother and sister." and tyrion thinking "Gods i hope not!" I think it's funny.
And the hair ver nice indeed.

OMG SHIRTLESS!OBERYN!!!!!!!!!! *collapses into a puddle of fangirl goo*

*recovers*

No, I don't think they were screwing each other. He made that comment just to mess w/ Tyrion & make him uncomfortable. They had an incredibly close, platonic relationship, something that in my mind was above things like physical desire.

This is totally gorgeous. Shirtless!Oberyn makes me one incredibly happy fangirl.

Haha, wow, I'm glad you like it! Normally I always draw the guys shirtless-it helps me to get the pose more or less right- and then, paint the clothes over it. This time, though, I liked his torso so much that I decided to leave it without clothes. I also think that Oberyn and Elia were just loving siblings, nothing targaryen-like.

I am glad you like them, especially Elia's hair. That's what I spent most time in ^^. I'm just frustrated about not having a good background for it.

It really doesn't need one it would take away from the Martells

I like the Persian feel you give the Dornish, it certainly matches how I've pictured them. Though to be honest I pictured Oberyn as much more, let's call it 'masculine'.

Great composition! Oberyn looks sexy and mischievous and Elia looks gentle and fragile.
Beautiful!
Yeah, I picture Oberyn more masculine too, it's only that I don't really know how to draw young people. If you look at my older Oberyn, he's more masculine. It's just my inability to draw people younger than twenty, I guess :_D. Anyway, a little feminity in Oberyn doesn't really bother me. Being a sensuous person, a certain femenine look would make him more exotic, maybe. Maybe. I'm glad you like it, in spite of that ^^

Thank you! I always thought that Oberyn would be very patient around Elia. This is why I've drawn him enduring a hairdressing session that he certainly wouldn't take from anyone else but his dear sister.
